Things have been going well with the new Borg Tattoo Machine. We have a great design, we are setting up our inventory and documentation to allow the production to be smooth, consistent and efficient. We have two units out in the field being tested and have had nothing be great reviews and feedback.

Now we are working on our first production lot of units. We are preparing for our first trade show / convention in Davenport Iowa. It is at the Muddy Water Tattoo Convention on October 23rd thru the 25th of 2009. For information on the convention please check out their web site at www.muddywatertattoo.com

I hope to see you there.

Production

We now have the production of the frames up and running smoothly. Working out final detail on the other parts in this new and production model. We have the coils looking really nice also. It is always satisfying when the parts of a project get completed and working smoothly. Hopefully we will have our new and different Armature Bars up and running soon. We will see.

Finishing up Some Details

This morning I am beginning the week with, as usual lofty goals. I hope to solve the final remaining issues with the new and final version of the Borg Tattoo Machine. I still have to decide the final capacitor sizes. I need to decide on the spring sizes and designs, as well as the armature bar sizes and designs. Once that is finished the biggest problems will be creating the website content and making the parts of the machine look sweet.

In making a tattoo machine the most difficult part, I find is not the mechanics or the fabrication of the frame and coils, it is the little things. Like deciding what color to make the frame. Making the coils look cool and professional. Making the website is not difficult; it is just hard to make it flow, look cool, informative and preform efficiently and as needed.

Hopefully today will go better than expected and I will solve more issues than I think I can.

Remeber to check out our website at www.borgtattoo.com
Also remeber to buy a machine, they are the best machines ever made.

The Tattoo Frame

I am working hard on getting the production of the final frame design up and running on the CNC machining center. It is very exciting to see the frames coming off the machine all milled perfectly out of a solid block of steel.
